The FC 27 Gallery, explained

Everything that decides a Gallery set's score – and how to get the most out of the cards you already own.

What is the Gallery?

The Gallery is the collection mode of FC 27 Ultimate Team. Every card you have ever owned can be placed in sets – club sets, league sets and rarity sets such as TOTW, Heroes or Squad Foundations. There are 128 sets across seven categories.

A card counts once it has been in your club – even if you sold it, quick-sold it or used it in an SBC later. Sets are never locked: you can swap in better cards and regrade at any time.

How a set's score is calculated

Total Score = Base Grade + Bonus Grade.

The Base Grade is the sum of the chosen cards' points. Points rise steeply with the rating: a gold 80 is worth 180, an 84 830, an 85 2,100, an 86 4,100 and a 90 14,000. Special cards are worth more, and holographic versions add another ×1.5.

The Bonus Grade comes from tags: each active tag adds a percentage of the points of the cards that qualify for it.

Grades D to S and tokens

Every set has five thresholds, D, C, B, A and S. The numbers on the in-game Rewards screen are the score you need. D usually just means "fill the set".

Rewards are cumulative: reaching S also pays out D to A. Grading is manual – after improving a set, press Regrade.

First owner: the biggest bonus

A card counts as first owner when you got it first-hand: from a pack, an SBC, an objective or a reward. Cards bought on the transfer market or loans don't count.

The First Owner tag is by far the strongest: 5 first owner cards in a set add 150 % of their points, 10 add 300 % and 20 add 500 %. That is why a slightly lower-rated first owner card often beats a higher-rated bought one.

In-game, first owner cards carry a small triangle with a 1. FC-Tracker reads it on your set pages, so it always knows which of your cards count.

The other bonus tags

Golden, Silver and Bronze reward cards of that colour – Silver and Bronze very generously, which makes cheap sets easy to max.

Heroic, Holographic, Iconic and TOTW reward special cards. Defensive Wall, Midfield Control and All out Attack reward positions. Same Nation, Same Club, Same League and their Different versions reward the mix of your lineup, and Multiples! rewards several versions of the same player.

Tags only pay once they are unlocked by enough qualifying cards, so one well-chosen swap can switch a whole tag on.

How to max a set

Fill every slot first – a set can only be graded when it is complete.

Hit the first owner steps of 5, 10 and 20 cards before anything else.

Look for big point jumps: one 86 is worth more than ten 80–83s.

Don't trust Optimize blindly – it picks ratings and can drop a 500 % first owner bonus. FC-Tracker shows the swaps that really raise the score.
